My personal best case option for the way the Playoff to go down- with the massive caveat that I won't be actively rooting for any of these spawn of Satan programs.

-Notre Dame beats Alabama
-Clemson squeaks by O$U
-Clemson then horribly embarrasses Notre Dame again

The SEC is completely delegitimized this way and as of now I believe the possibility of them going winless this entire postseason is still on the table.

This also would instantly remove any luster from Notre Dame beating Baga as it would be obvious that they had no business being in the Championship Game.

All this said, I understand any dissent or just wishing for stadium implosions or asteroid strikes since preferring Clemson or even O$U as the lesser of evils is still almost unpalatable.

I want them all to fail miserably, but since that is not gonna be an option, I’ll go with your Plan B

I would also add "the Big 10 after a 5-game season" after "SEC" in your sentence about delegitimization.

And I completely agree.

Also, to quote myself from another thread, "The only thing worse than a Clemson-Alabama-Ohio Taint-Notre Dame Final Four would be a Final Eight that included the Gaytors, SemenHoles, Ped State ****tany Lions, and the MountainQueers."

ND always gets blown out in major bowl games and I think the media is starting to catch on. Another blow out loss and I think they won’t continue to get these opportunities.

Clemson blows out Bama. May not completely delegitimize the SEC but at least gives the ACC some credit.

Yup. From the night of the ACCCG:

ND is gonna' get A$$ raped today. Alabaga is 4 or 5 players shy of being a bottom feeder in the NFL, LOL! Seriously though, I think the Tide would give the Jaguars a run for their money....you know? They reside in the city that will be Sunshine's new home.

Notre Dame will get destroyed...only team beating them is in a league with 3 letters

Days that have games like this are the like the hippee olympics (from P.C.U)...’No body wins, ‘cause they’re all losers.’

No matter the implications, NEVER Notre lame. They’re 1b right beneath 1a the gator. No matter the winners, there will be plenty of excuses from all sides.
