SIAP but Funny how they can just ignore this. Their own website clearly defines Selection Principles as Head to Head and common opponents.

Despite what dumbass said on ESPN last week they can and should consider Ole Miss without Kiffin and Weiss Jr (and Glasscock too I guess)

Save us, Carla Williams!

You’re our only hope.

“In 2024, she was appointed to a three-year term on the College Football Playoff Selection Committee. She became the first African American female athletic director named to the committee.

Prior to coming to Virginia, Williams served as an athletics administrator at the University of Georgia for 13 years and was named deputy director of athletics in 2015.”

She's not helping us. Look at the rest of her career.

This place is going to be insufferable for the next couple of weeks with the mental gymnastics. We aren’t getting in. It’s a bunch of BS and there’s no logical explanation, but everyone needs to get over it.

I’m glad somebody posted this. Notice how carefully it is worded. “Principles” means nothing. They are not rules or regulations, or bylaws. “Consider” means just that. They can choose to factor in any one those bullet points or none of them.

This is why many of us are 🤦🏾‍♂️ when people start talking about the committee having to do this or that because their “rules” say they have to. They don’t have to do jack. There are no rules. They can do whatever, however they want.

And consider that our defense had KEY guys hurt, yet the D played the best it has all year last couple games. 3 opponents held to 7 points! I don't care if it's ACC, thats impressive at the FBS level. Also all our common opponents to ND we outscored ND and held opponent to lesser points sans Syracuse.

Missing 3 starters.

The ACC may be the worse managed conference in CFB. The now-defunct PAC-12 hit rock bottom but at least a few programs were smart enough to bolt.

The conference should reinstate Divisions but realign annually to balance the power between two. In the past the Coastal was balanced but in the Atlantic FSU and Clemson had no competition except themselves.
