CFN Top 25

We the highest ranked team with 6 regular season losses? The hype is real.

No love for an 11-2 team Vegas says is coming in 2nd in the ACC this year, sandwiched between two 8-5 teams. ***** those domers.

So Pitt, N Car., V Tech, & Clemson all common opponents ranked higher than Miami. Clemson yes the rest of these teams no way. Miami will be out of the top 25 if this is even close.

Add ND to this list as well. If you go 3-2 or better you can boost your national ranking, anything less than that and...... I dont even want to think about it

Forget records.
It's fair to say that we played UNC, Pitt, and VT even last year.
Our improvements in the off-season trump theirs.

Very disappointed that I will not be able to go fricken nuts at the Pitt and UNC games.

5 teams in the top 25 is pretty good for a conference half the people on here say is a joke.
The ACC is getting better the reason it looks bad is because national brands like miamj and fspoo are bad right now. But unc is on the rise. VT is solid. Pitt is good on defense and Miami would be on the rise. Louisville looks to be as well

They say that every year. It's all praise for the SEC, then the ACC wins twice as many bowls and it's a blurb on ESPN during the heavily watched 1:00-3:00 AM window.

Seven Sec teams and two right outside the top 25 ready to replace anyone that drops out.

With conference only games get ready for they beat each other narrative.

That’s the correct narrative.

In a conference only schedule where they’re likely to play 10 SEC games, how would that not be the correct narrative? The reality? some of their teams at the bottom are flat out better than many of the ACC teams ranked ahead of them. Kentucky, Miss State and Texas A&M are better than VT, Pitt and UNC. And it wouldn’t surprise me if South Carolina and Tennessee were better too.

Every SEC team would trade it’s schedule with any ACC team this year.

You again? Surprised you have lasted 1500 posts being a sec slurper.

You smell more like a gaytor than anything else.

No, unfortunately that isn't true about the ACC VS SEC in bowls. Not even close in fact. The following is how each conference did in bowl games since 2010.

SEC 63 - 35 (70% of SEC teams playing each yr) 7 natl champs
Big 10 37 - 48 (61% of Big10 teams playing each yr) 1 natl champ
ACC 40 - 51 (64% of ACC teams playing each yr) 2 natl champs
Big 12 40 - 34 (74% of Big12 teams playing each yr) no natl champs
Pac 12 39 - 37 (63% of Pac12 teams playing each yr) no natl champs

SEC wins at much higher percentage than any other and does so playing 70% of its teams every year.

Big10 and ACC stink based on overall bowl records this last decade although they are only conferences with a natty other than SEC

So I should have said, "...then IF the ACC wins..."

That article is terrible. If everything falls right with King (that’s what it says), we are behind Pitt and VT? Come on. No. If things pan out, then:

Clemson
ND
Miami.

I don’t buy the Mack Brown hype.
