Reynolds is an idiot. Once we beat Clemson we will have beaten a # 3 and a # 1. That is equal to Auburn but with only one loss. Only a unbeaten WI would have a better claim to being in than us. Audurn, WI, OU is about as boring a package possible. Only we could bring some hype to that. Of course, UGA will probably beat Auburn and OSU beats WI. Imagine Miami, OSU, UGA and OU package and the TV ratings. Miami v UGA is TV is coaching mega drama. Miami v OSU is just to great to behold. Miami v OU is 30 for 30 THE U live, including a modern Boz with that nutty QB. Slide Bama in place of OSU and still magic.

And then State of the U comments - we are a "brand program". We may not be the traditional power like Bama or OSU ... but we have just as much national appeal.

They're saying if Wisky loses Clemson vs. Bama is the matchup for the last spot:

CAN CLEMSON STAY IN THE RANKINGS WITH A LOSS?
It's not out of the question. Let's say Miami knocks off Clemson in a close thriller for the ACC title, and then Auburn and Oklahoma win their conference championships, but Wisconsin loses. The fourth and final playoff spot would come down to Clemson or Alabama.

Clemson would finish 11-2 as ACC runner-up with wins over playoff-bound Auburn and bowl teams Louisville, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, NC State, South Carolina and maybe Florida State. The Tigers' losses would've come at the hands of playoff-bound Miami and lowly Syracuse.

The case for Alabama includes an 11-1 record with its only loss against playoff-bound Auburn. The Tide's wins over bowl-bound teams would include LSU, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Colorado State, Fresno State and maybe Florida State.

Alabama's only case for being ahead of Clemson in this situation would be having one less loss, as the Tigers have a much better resume and a win over common opponent Auburn.

Bama sits at No. 5 this week because when you lose to a good team like Auburn you're not going to drop a whole lot from the No. 1 spot. Clemson would absolutely benefit from the same circumstances this week.

They did beat two #1 ’s though

They lost to a team that lost to Troy.

With an undefeated Big 10 and 1 loss Big 12 school behind them and Miami at 7 with a better loss than #1 .

Dude, UNC beat Pitt... that loss was pathetic, and not better than clemson losing to syracuse with their backup qb....

At this point, it doesnt matter! Win and we’re in!

LOL at excusing Clemson's loss because Kelly Bryant got hurt.

Dude isn't Baker Mayfield. No excuses to lose a game to a 4-8 team. None.

Us being at #7 with Clemson being #1 guarantees we're in if we win.

Can't ask for much more than that.

Last week of the season and we have an ACC Championship and playoff birth on the line

Yeah, I don't see how if we beat Clemson we're left out unless we win by a point and Ohio State beats Wisconsin by 50.

But that's not happening, so I tend to think if we win we're in.

Doesn’t matter what we win by, we won.

ACC champ will not be left out.

I’m guessing you don’t want Georgia to make the playoffs so they continue not to win the big games. But I think it would be much sweeter for CMR to beat Georgia. Since I hate Ohio Taint and Bama more than the other teams in contention I need for Oklahoma, Georgia, whisky and The U to take care of that business.
