Ill say this, the rise of certain programs usually precipitate the fall of others. Everyone, the media, the high school kids the fans they all think the SEC is some unstoppable juggernaut . Miami and USC lying dormat for atleast a decade has allowed so much talent from these two areas to get away and many different programs have benfited. Ima say this, Saban is the greatest college coach of all time but if Miami or USC in their prime...particularly Miami, Bama is not having the success they having. And if you think im being hyperbolic, note that Clemson won 2 titles off them in 4 years. Not saying they win no titles, just saying the dominance, would not be as it is

I say all that to say this. Do yall see the seismic shifts that happened when First USC, then Us made those changes, and not just changes. Naa we going for the top, Clemson u ran the ACC, we gonna take your AD, tried to take Bama's first. USC went into OU and took a coach with like .800 win %. Many kids followed him from OU etc. Not only that they pumping money into the entire programs, top to bottom. For us personally we have never made a hire and we got that reaction from recruits, its unprecedented. There is a reason every post on Noles 247 front page is all Miami. It is real, they are always the first to feel it. Its not chains and facades.
The recruits are on fire on both coasts. This is not top 10 class reaction, this is top 5, recruiting title stuff. Those kids, are not only gonna go to these two schools, they are gonna deny talent to the SEC.

Don't you listen to rival fans and the media and other bums. They are scared, forget the coaching part, one thing they cant deny is the pool of players they can send their bag men to get, got much smaller. That goes for Ohio St, UGA and all the other SEC teams.

You know how since the playoffs came around it was like a select group of teams every season give or take. That deck is about to get shuffled mightily. Miami is not a 07 type rebuild, not sure about USC but in 2 or 3 years alot of the teams you think are prominent now, they wont be. Some will always have some relevance cuz they are big brands as well but cherry picking and feasting off the Cali and South Florida kids just came crashing down. College Football just changed in 2 weeks. Pin this thread, quote it in 2 or 3 years.

There is a post I created a few days back called Fear and Excitement and I created that post which basically echos what you said. As others have said there is lots of work to do but I do welcome the day when Miami and USC get back to their winning ways. Once that happens, then the playing field will be leveled to a large degree. I do agree Alabama, Clemson and Ohio St. have benefited via fair means or foul(mostly foul) from the decline of USC, Miami, FSU, Texas, and Nebraska over the past 20+ years.
