Michigan hired Ty Rogers three years ago as a multimedia coordinator to boost graphics and video presence on social media with recruits. Rogers no longer works at Michigan. He spent a few days earlier this week at Ohio State working on signing day footage and graphics .
From an OSU article about this subject:
"We asked a source in the know for a little more detail on the difference between good and bad … errr … Ohio State and the Fighting Khakis.
“It’s the culture,” the source said. “At Ohio State it’s a way of life. It goes beyond the field. It’s about kicking their **** in all areas of the program. How the sauce is made to make kids feel like [Ohio State] is a cool place to be. Competing for national championships, support the players get - everything top to bottom is what he’s referencing. What they’re doing at Michigan right now [Ohio State] was doing eight years ago. Michigan still rents movies at Blockbuster. We are streaming them.”
So much goes into having a top notch program. This is just another piece of that puzzle and we've talked about this stuff on this board before. Personally, I think the stuff that comes from Miami graphics department is pretty top notch. The video gifs this cycle were awesome.
