PFF :: vs :: TOTAL QBR (ESPN); 50 = AVG in Total QBR

1. Darian Mensah — 94.1 :: 93.9 (1st)
2. Julian Saiyan — 92.5 :: 92.8 (2nd)
3. Anthony Colandrea — 92.4 :: 67.4 (45th)

7. Noah Fifita — 90.5 :: 82.2 (23rd)
8. Jayden Maiava — 90.4 :: 87.4 (8th)

Thought this was pretty interesting how close their 1-100 outputs were, and additionally even their rankings. The outliers themselves are intriguing to look into as well; including Houser and Hawkins Jr who weren’t included in the top 8 for PFF.

Tait Reynolds is garbage yo lol. We need to get some takeaways this game.

9. Kamario Taylor — 87.1

This one is interesting. We've faced the 6th fewest 2nd & 7+ downs in the country, and have an above average success rate when faced with them.

2nd half against Wake, we were both very bad at creating successful 1st down plays while also being abnormally (I.e. completely) unsuccessful on 2nd and long.

Toney didnt really play first and 2nd downs in that half so offense was basically not functional

Net success rate is one of the ones I look at every week. Check out Clemson @ Cal

Clemson had a punt return TD and like a 75 yard TD run. Doesn't the success rate not care about explosives? Their drives were:

4 plays 11 yards
5-14
2-9
11-59 (Three 4th down conversions)
4-6
6-30 (One 22 yard pass)
13-69
5-98 (75 yard TD run)
5-7

That's probably why. They really only had one sustained drive that didn't include an explosive or being behind the sticks.

True, but the first drive of the half we had successful 1st & 10 plays 2/3 times (avg 6 ypp), and the one 2nd & long we had we were successful on. All of that was without Toney, IIRC, he didn't come on the field until we were goal to go.
