CFB Analytics Thread 2026-27

The raw stats will be misleading for a while. I'd like to see something opponent-adjusted that doesn't just gas up SEC teams with no regard for actual on-field performance (or ESPN's FPI that leaves OSU at 1 after their choke job Saturday night).

I scrub thru their all 22 of their QB.. Everything was sideline screen throws, when they tried to go down field it look like it hurt, I think they connected pass 10 yard once before I got bored and moved on to Archie (we are in an amazing time where you can just throw that statement out flippantly :u5pyxda: ).. And it looks like they are depending on Chris Johnson for a major role instead of a nice piece, that alone tells me they are fully cooked in run game (and I was a Chris fan coming out of high school but he never gained a pound and probably should of stayed at SMU or focus fully on track)

Clemson is going to be so bad this year that Garrett Riley will be held in high regard as an OC again despite being a quarterbacks coach rn

Him and Chip got Mizzou looking good right now and they havent even trotted out their star RB yet.. Hope he back by the florida game, OOOOOOWWWWWEEEEEEEE

Idc what people say about RIley because at end of day when he got to clemson, he wasnt running his offense, they said he had to run "clemson offense" i didnt care to look into it much but that sounds like recipe for disaster.. He not there and they are worse! lol..

I literally pretend like FAMU didn’t even happen. That is legitimately a high school team, no bull****.

But just for funsies, Darian Mensah has played in 14 drives and we have scored 91 points. LMAO.

That’s 6.5 points per drive. Anything above 4 is literally historic. Somewhere in the high 3’s leads the country every year. 3.8, 3.9…that’ll be best in America year over year. We are at 6.5 when Mensah plays 😆 😆 😆

Just silly.
