Central WR Darnell Salomon has Miami on top, Lol

I watched the Dematha and Central game this year. Central QB is a disaster, if he had Kato Nelson he would have easily had more catches and TDs right now.

Ole Miss and all the Sec Schools and FSU are all taking these types of kids with prior issues that are cleaning up so I see no problem with us doing it.

Get the goons while you can that play good football. Take him.

But what about when those types of schools aren't taking this kid, with prior issues? We can't take a goon just to take a goon, don't you think it is possible those schools backed off for a reason?

IF we gonna take a goon he better be a beast, and those camp reviews scare me I mean how easy is it to excell at a camp for a WR?
 
I've always been high on his talent but his off field issues made me not even care that he wasn't interested in us. If he wants to come.. take him. Either he gets in trouble and is kicked off (hopefully we keep Bruce, Richards, Mullins) and its no big deal. Or he lives up to his potential. I trust KB to mentor the kid. Could have a Dalvin Cook effect as far as attracting other guys from Central to consider Miami like Cook did for Phillips at FSU.

I'm all in on bringing in guys from a powerhouse like Central if I'm on edge either on their talent or personality. Never know what players that solidifies in the next few classes or what guys it sways away from FSU, UF, etc. to come to UM.
 
Was interesting during the Ole Miss game to listen to them say that Hugh Freeze is actively refusing to recruit receivers under 6 feet. For as much *****ing as we do about not getting enough speed (and I lead the charge...we should get at least one slot burner every year), guys like Salomon are increasingly in high demand even at spread programs. Which makes me wonder how bad a dude he must be to have THAT as his Final 4...

He's a rashawn Scott type... Is being coached by a former cane now if he is there for the take, grab him in my opinion. At least you have a cans coaching him that can give you the real deal info about him. He's a kid that hoes to Louisville and turns it around...id rather him do it at Miami.

There's not that many 6'2-6'3 200-205 wr in s.fla.

He is the type of kid that goes to Louisville because they are one of the few schools that will take him. They have to take kids like this we don't.

Why risk adding a potential cancer to the locker room?
