Prediction:

Jarren completes 68% of passes in blowout win.

Some will point to that regression from 70+% as proof Enos and this offense suck.

Jarren is in the path to becoming a stud, and that’s undoubtedly due in part to Enos.

But with a minute left in the first half against Bethune Cookman, we were winning 14-0; and one of those touchdowns was solely because of a combination of blown defensive assignments and our players just being a lot bigger stronger and faster than their players.

The offensive line is pure doo doo garbage trash. Like “worst O Line in college football in the past decade” bad.

There is cause for concern.

You know, for all the snarky comments like that which you see on here, you’d think we were putting up Oklahoma type numbers.

Averaging 22.5 points per game against P5 teams is not exactly blowing the doors off by today’s standards.

How about we win some **** games before we feel quite so confident about what we’re doing?

Go ahead, neg away.

No, our line is not that bad. I was disappointed in most of the first half against Beth Cook, but it wasn't our line play that caused us to struggle.

Enos seems to have Williams looking good but we simply don’t have the personnel to play the style he wants to. We aren’t Arkansas and frankly he’s never had consistently good offenses. We should be playing more like a big 12 team that’s who we recruit

It was more a comment about how some of the people on here want to crap on anything this staff does than anything else.

I know there is plenty of room for improvement.

I got you, man. And I didn't pick your comment for any other reason than it sparked me to have something to say, definitely not personal to you.

I just feel like, all of a sudden this last week everyone is feeling great, Jarren is rookie of the week, gonna set every Hurricanes passing record there is, and a sure fire top 10 overall pick in the draft, Deejay is the best running back everyone has ever seen, etc, etc.

Sometimes, it feels like you come on here and to read the comments you'd think we'll be playing for a national championship, or actually you'd think we just won one.

Newsflash, we are WAY under .500 against P5 over the last however many games. I'm not saying we all have to be Debbie Downer all the time, but man, maybe we should spend a little less time speculating about whether Jarren is going to be a top 5 QB of all time, or the greatest QB of all time. ****, to hear some people speak, he should start sitting games out now to save himself for the draft.

22.5 points per game and 0-2 vs. P5 competition is not getting it done and that falls on every **** one in that locker room. No one is excelling at their job when that is happening. Period.

Nah, man, I'm not alright.

The oline is nowhere near that bad... it’s simply on the QB and OC to get it done. There are no excuses.

I saw a comment on here by one poster where they basically said that if we are not pumped after a win like BCC, then something is wrong with u.

I feel that some fans are not looking at a clear picture. Beating up on one of the worst teams in all of football is no reason to celebrate. If anything, only being up 14-0 in the 2nd qtr and having difficulties converting on 3rd downs while at home, against said team, should have us scratching our heads.

I want to see what we do against a P5 opponent, regardless of record. We should have no problems w CMU. Actually, I would be mortified if we struggle against them. So assuming we smoke them, then my attention will be how we play against the ACC schedule. That’s what I’m anxiously awaiting to see. I’m still not over that loss against UNC.

I love CIS where a thread titled “Central Michigan” is actually about porsters being too happy when we’re only 1-2.

Central is not a very good team. They are also very weak Against the things we do well.

IMO these two games are the perfect confidence boosters we needed before getting into ACC play.

I would put the blame for our slow starts on Jarren and the Oline. deejay, Cam and our frontline WRs/TE have been consistent all year running hard and catching passes. So really it’s up to Jarren to find his rhythm early and the Oline to get some holes opened up.
