I think people forget about Wright and Finley because they are safeties and we need cornerbacks. I think they are ready to make an impact. Romeo will bring the pain!

You guys can't really believe UM admissions is so much slower or more inept than other colleges. There are obviously other issues at play

If UM's admissions officer handling Cedrick Wrights transcripts is competent then once they did the initial evaluation for his committable scholarship offer or sometime after Wright signed his NLI they should noticed he would need transcripts from other high schools an then requested those official transcripts months ago. They the only thing that UM should have been waiting for are final grades from his current school.

I mean it isn't up to the UM admin to go out and get the transcripts. It is up to the student/athlete to provide everything that may be needed. Everyone blames things on the school, when in reality, it is usually the players fault. Guess what, the Admin doesn't work less hard when it comes to these athletes. they put the same amount of effort (or more) as they would every other student, and it always seems to work out fine.

Anybody who blames the Wright issue on the school is clueless, and obviously not an alum.

Miami has a special admissions staff dedicated solely to athletes. But getting transcripts to the school is 100% on the kid/his family. By law Miami can't just go to Homestead or Gulliver and pick them up, Wright has to request they be sent to UM.

What this really sounds like is just a misunderstanding that will be cleared up. Being a HS kid, Wright didn't understand he needed to get ALL of his transcripts to UM. Miami noticed this and flagged it. Now it's just a matter of getting things sent and processed.

Gulliver is a toilet. It's all their fault. They hold themselves out as some sort of prestigious private HS, and they get 2 guys flagged. They should shut that toilet of a HS down.

We got guys from the deepest recesses of the inner city qualifying, and this sorry *** excuse for a hoity toity private school can't get 2 guys qualified. Mullins didn't even play last year, and they still can't get him straight. Pathetic job by Gulliver.
