CB Will we land one top one?

Isn't Fenton the CB or DB everyone has been raving about? Don't know too much on him so maybe someone will add to my lack of knowledge. He seems to be getting a lot of hype though.

Jaquan Johnson
Tim Irvin is looking like lock right now.

Thats 2 DB's i think we take 4 but unfortunately. at least one will be a filler guaranteed.
 
I think we take. Cole, D Davis, C Davis and maybe Ben Edwards along with JJ and Tim Irvin I think we have a **** at C Davis he wants to see us win is what he basically said but Ohio st ain't holding up there end either
 
That's my concern is the winning , our staff haven't prove they can win vs top teams . The concept I have is that if I was top db I wouldn't won't to play in that system.

D$ is extremely high on him. Seems like he would come if offered from what I have read. He reminds me a lot of the kid (Ricardo Allen) that went to Purdue. Really wanted to come here but Randy wouldn't offer him since he was only 5'9". Went on to be a stud at Purdue and was a 3rd rnd pick in the last draft. Everyone on the staff wanted to offer him and Randy flat out said no. I hope we offer this kid and not have a repeat.

Shawn Burgess-Becker
Tyrek Cole
Carlton Davis
Davante Davis
Ben Edwards
Tim Irvin
Jaquan Johnson (commit)

and maybe Miami is keeping tabs on Fenton and K. McFadden.


My take.

Weird vibe I get, I don't feel good about our chances of getting Carlton Davis. I thought he was all cane up until he committed to ohio state.

My view on our chances of Ben Edwards have taken a complete 180, I think we have a legit shot now. Could definitely see him as a Cane.

Irvin is Cane, always said it. Can't picture him somewhere else.

We must land Davante, I hope staff is making him a priority. I know, I know, He's originally from Homestead, but Ice needs to put in work here.

Cole, I surely hope he pieces everything back together cause we need him in this class. If he really wants to play with Jaquan and Irvin like he says, he'll come.

SBB, I've said it for ages. The Monarch duo recruitment will not be over until near signing day or on signing day. Not counting on him right now but it can happen.

Jaquan is as Cane as it gets. My personal favorite recruit in 2015 and IMO South Floridas best player for 2015.

Also I hope Miami is keeping close contact with Fenton and K. McFadden just in case.





So, my prediction for now. (Subject to change as recruiting cycle continues.)

CB: Tyrek Cole, Davante Davis

CB/S: Tim Irvin

S: Ben Edwards, Jaquan Johnson

LMGDAO . We will sign 4-5 DBs . If they are who most think they will be ( ie . Davis/JJ/Irvin/edwards and one other

that will 3-4 future starters and a future back up . That is exactly what you want to do . This class will be top 5-10 when its over and in 2016 we will have a top 3 class. While there a few questions about this staff recruiting is not one of them . The heat they have in my part of the state lately ( Jax) is unlike at any time of my 35 years on this earth . Coley especially is a recruiting beast.

Love those predictions and strongly agree with this post i dont doubt that we still have a chance with sbb its going to get extremely interesting both the ending and beginning of the year. We have to remember how positive our recruiting efforts have been and i believe that it will carry over.
