What you mean current climate? When has this stuff not happen in recruiting. I seen Tommy Kinsler flip to us at midnight, i was on my way to the club after UF claimed he was locked in. We have even more wild stories before NIL. There was and always been these type of kids from South Florida who went elsewhere for a variety of reasons. Money, hype, bucking the trend, just hated the environment, you name it

I don’t see the problem with his post.

Using his mother for likes is a lesson that can be learned from before he’s 18. He put it out in a public forum and everyone showed him love.

Now people aren’t being as kind because frankly it’s an embarrassing thing he did now with this decision.

Nothing he can’t come back from.

Funny how times have changed … we now sound like the SEC schools that said the same about us when were flipping guys who took the bag over joining a winning program ! Lol “This kid does not care about winning”

I still take being a winning team tho !

I am not shocked at all. These kids and their parents have to be chasing bags. There is no way you look at NC right now and not see a complete dumpster fire. Just like the kids at Nebraska thinking that the Corn fields would make them stars or the UF kid that said last year that he thought UF has the better team and direction than UM. I would never let my son go to a school where the coach has made them worse than they were last year and is looking for a buyout. It's a toxic environment when you're on a team that is losing. He will be in the portal in 1 year IMO.

Who advises these kids?
