we have height at cb, most of them have some speed. they were cbs in south florida . its not like we got our cbs from nj. redwine, jackson were recruited by some big schools also they weren't golden projects. i think cb play will be better then expected
bama started a true freshman last year. won nc, clemson started mackenzie alexander as a young cb. it happens. we will see if are any good in spring practice and game action but can't be worse then some of the stuff happened under golden.
Minkah Fitzpatrick #1 CB - is the true freshmen from Old Bridge, NJ who started and led Bama's secondary in passes break ups with 8 and 2 Ints for Tds.
45 tackles, 3TFL, 2 sacks. 1st team Freshmen AA, SEC 1st team Freshmen.
Minkah had a Miami offer from Golden his Jr year.
LOL at dummies sleeping on Redwine. With the heat Kool will generate, CBs won't have to try to cover in perpetuity like they did under the last maggots.
Simple science. Ask a CB to cover for less time, and they don't all have to be Deion sanders.

Redwine is an aggressive corner with long arms on a 6'1 body and he played decent snaps as freshman. He's going to start and he's going to play well.
I'm curious why everyone is penciling Cedric Wright in at CB? I thought he was being brought in to play safety. Is this Wright to CB projection based on the way he fits in Diaz's scheme or are people referring to Wright's ability to be a nickel CB? I suppose it is probably both.
