Castellanos

FSU has a more talented WR and RB group than BC ever had. We will have a showdown on our hands.

I think there is something to be said about being battle-tested. FSU’s only real challenge was a Bama currently ranked #17. That’s right about the ranking of USF when we played them.

Imagine if we had only played USF and then a bunch of FCS-level teams so far this season. Would you feel confident going into a game against a team ranked #2 that had physically dominated a playoff team (USF) and two teams which some experts said had top 5 OLs in the country (UF and ND)?

You’ll have a better idea what you’re in for after they play UVA. There’s film now, and while their D isn’t good, UVA is a legitimate P4 program and their offense can score.

Week 1 Bama apparently hadn’t watched any of the 40 years of film on Malzahn and no one told Ryan Williams he’d probably get hit. Since then they’ve played school I didn’t know had football teams.
UVA hit the portal hard, and it's showing. They average 53 pts & give up 19, and dropped 48 on Stanford. They would be undefeated except for 2 bonehead calls against NCSU by their head coach. Oh, and their QB is Guy Morris' son.

Connected on a few deep throws for TD's but also had 0 pressure vs Kent St. The Wr's are pretty fast and can get behind you.

Castellanos is shifty, but after watching how the Canes had Byron on LOCK vs USF, I think we shut them down. There will be a trick play or two but expect the Canes to be ready for them.
Agreed, Bain and Mesidor will be on CastEnano’s *** all day while our DBs lockdown their WRs. Our defense will be dominant, again. Beck rebounds and we roll.

This FSU team isn't more talented than last year's Boston College team with Castellanos.

Actually this sets up perfectly for us - we destroy them by 30+ at their stadium, that's pretty much guaranteed.

Then we look really good to all the committees etc when all we've really had to do was beat up on a cripple.
