2027 Carter "President" Davis 3* WR/ATH From Gulf Shores, AL (Gulf Shores HS) Commits to WVU

Davis' performance in Boston also elevated his standing within the state. He continues to hold Alabama's fastest 60-meter time this season after posting a 6.76 at the AHSAA indoor state meet, and he now ranks No. 3 in the state in the 200-meter dash following his nationals showing.

"The experience was great," Davis said. "Especially knowing that I'm running with some of the fastest kids in the nation, very blessed. I really don't take it as me being the fastest in Alabama; I just keep working and improving my game."

With the indoor season complete and an individual state title already in Davis' grasp, he now shifts his focus to outdoor competition. And Davis has already made an impact for the Dolphins there, recording a 10.53 in the 100-meter dash at the Eagle Invitational in Pine Forest back in late February — a time tied for the fastest in Alabama this season and placing him among the top 20 nationally.

wvu might suck but they are gonna be fast while doing it.....

they got some incoming speed the last two classes.

they got like 3 sub 10.8 100m runners already committed.
