CARTER BACKPEDALING AT END OF GAME

The sight of Jamal Carter(who to anyone with a football IQ is not a very good football player, Anyone who doubts what I just said is in denial or hasn't watched # 6 play, he acts like he's old school Miami put plays like a Dorito and Golden type defender. He is always out of postion, Always takes bad mindscratching angles to the ballcarrier, has little or no ball skills, backpedals on defense when the other team is running out the clock, just awful! Ed Reed must get sick to his stomach watching this guy, while my favorite all time favorite Cane Sean Taylor must turn over in his grave when he watches this pee wee league Defense!! you think Crawford stinks Carter isn't far behind!). I repeat him Backpedaling at the end of the game while Cincinnati was trying to run out the clock, Was My Lowest Point ever as a Miami fan(I'm 51 and have been a diehard Canes fan for more than 30 years! While I don't like Carter he is the least of our problems! We must start over with a REAL Head Coach!(Butch is my first choice, Kingsbury second by the way! GOLDEN AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF MUST GO NOW!! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN MY BELOVED CANES PLAYING "MIAMI" FOOTBALL AND BEING "BACK" UNDER THESE POP WARNER COACHES! Sorry to ramble but Golden has broken my spirit!

He was coached to do that dumb ***, were here to bash the coaches not our savage safetys

If anything that embarrassing scene is on the coaches. They taught him that and they want robots who follow their rules.

You really think that is what he wants to do? Watch his HS tape and tell me he is that type of player.

No need for name calling, why do u feel the need to personally attack posters, Sad to be you! By the way IT is the coaching staff that is to blame but Carter isn't very good! What has he done here, can't blame it all on his coaches!
 
Doesnt matter who else recruited him! Other schools havent missed on players before? Carter' s HS tape means little to me, he isn't a very good player, when given the chance like many on this team haven't performed well! Many teams have bad coaches but a great player still makes plays. He has never made many plays in his time here.
 
OP, you are greatly mistaken. These kids are being coached to look like hot garbage! Its more about the coaches and less about Carter.

He backpedaled on the snap. He was not reacting. He was doing what the scheme called for. Dorito went back to full bend dont' break after Corn got burned.
 
I hate this coaching staff more than anyone but some players just arent very good, not many but a few shouldnt be Hurricanes. I know many of you especially the angry posters need to act immature by saying f-----...... but lets not forget this is a forum to discuss things not name call. If it makes u feel good to curse and scream at people you are a very Unhappy person, and not just about Miami football!
 
Go watch the last drive. We had our safeties nowhere near the LOS on any of the plays, when they weren't even going to think of throwing it. Our coaches were scared of being beaten deep, down 11 with 3 minutes left. But, yeah, bash the ******* players. ******* genius.
 
Not bashing the players, just one! If u understand the post I am mostly bashing ths coaches! p.s. No one has answered my ? what has he done here? I forgot it is all the coaches fault, I agree mostly! but not all! Also the Carter backpedaling example is just the poster child for how Low this program has sunk! Anyone here get it?

Ah yes, the usual "so and so is overrated" rationale. Alf is the only coach in America to sign a bunch of 4-5 star kids who end up completely fizzling in college because they were overrated in HS and "not good to begin with".

It seems like no one, esp the Blowhards on this site cant or wont answer the question about Carter's contributions when he is on the field, last week on a Nebraska td throw to the endzone he waited for the guy to catch the ball at the goalline to react! He was in man coverage on the guy, or that horrible angle he took ay the end ot game yesterday when he had 15 yards and several seconds to take a proper angle. If nobody saw these 2 plays watch and still tell yourself that Carter is "great" I feel sorry for many of you, its not your faults that u really dont comprehend what your watching before your eyes due to your blind hatred of the coaching staff! I hate Golden and his "staff' as much as anybody, HE is in over his head at Miami but some of his players(just a few like Carter havent cut it either!
