He is NOTHING like Dorsey. Carson has very good speed and can be illusive. Dorsey was extremely slow and not a threat to run at all. Carson throws spirals and Dorsey threw knuckelballs. Dorsey was certainly a winner but he was surrounded by gifted players which made him better.

I'm definitely an amatuer when it comes to evaluating passing arm strength, but I never got the impression from watching him play that he didn't have a strong arm. I think he has plenty of power in his throws and him being the #1 overall prospect for the draft just a couple of years ago would seem to hint at the same thing.

But, as I said, I'm no expert on the subject, but I'll say this - I don't believe we'll be limited in anyway with his "limitations". The only thing I'm concerned with is turn overs.

I predict he's going to have a great season for us.

Kosar, Testaverde, Walsh, Erickson, Torretta, Dorsey were all surrounded by gifted players.

Kosar, Walsh and Dorsey had something between the ears that made up for the arm strength and/or athleticism of the other three.

I never understand why it seems our fans take shots at Kenny. #1 you are right,they are nothing similar. Kenny wouldn't run to save a baby from a fire. But he also didn't need to. He threw a **** of a lot more than a knuckle ball and Kenny Kelly was also surrounded by those players(less mature or not)& got nowhere near the same results. Kenny was a different breed and I'd take him 100 times out of 100 over Carson beck who was also surrounded by plenty of talent.
