Carson did not lose the game for us. He is a Cane.

How about this play? The one he scrambled all over to make. He and CJ Daniels.... Daniels had to push the ref out of the way...

One play doesn't a game lose. There were plenty of other problems way before that throw.

He did enough to keep us in the game and just missed by enough to cost us the comeback victory. He didn’t lose us the game but he didn’t win us the game like we had hoped for.

Hope we backfill the roster with good players and make another run in 2026. The 4 big question marks: QB, Moten, Bell, and DE.

The fact that all 3 losses of the season ended with Beck INT's is a very unfortunate fact (def some blame on WRs there). Because he was a **** good QB and Cane legend for taking this team this far. Will always root for him.

All three games we lost was practically same script. It takes a full half for Dawson to get his out of his ***, and then we have to press playing catch up to go for the lead or tie and ends in an interception on a potential miscommunication.

Beck definitely lost some zip post injury but Dawson needs to be better and call complete games. Those productive 2nd half calls should’ve been happening no later than the second offensive possession.

4 playoff games and the offense gave us 0, 7, and 0 going into halftime. And the worst defense we saw in Ole Miss only we had 17 points thru 3 quarters. Miscommunication and points left on the field was our Achilles heel this season and it finally caught up to us when it mattered most.

He didn't lose the game, but he **** sure ended it. Bauman, Davis, and Dawson 1st half playcalling were too much to overcome in the end. Feel sick for the rest of the team. **** of a run.

It was a team loss. This isn’t a Vinny 1986 game. Beck made a bad throw and a bad read. A lot of the players made bad plays throughout the game because that’s competitive football. They fought hard and lost to the better executing team that night.

No need for Canes fans to run with narratives like a 15-year-old on Twitter.

We would not have reached the title game without Beck. I am still unsure if his arm has totally healed.

We gave up six defensive touchdowns in four CFP games against very high-powered offenses. Two of the touchdowns were given up on fourth downs to the winner and runner-up for the Heisman.

We outplayed IU in the second half - 21 to 10, excluding the blocked punt playing Miami Hurricane Football. Our special teams cost us this game.

You are connected. You should be able to convey several issues with our special teams that the coaches are apparently too blind to see. For starters:

- 87 had problems blocking since the first game of the year against Notre Dame. His blocking improved some during the season, but he still is not very good at it. Not only can he not block well, but he is also unlikely to tackle a punt returner if he needs to as one of his duties on the punting team. I am confident there is a walk-on that can block and tackle better on this unit. There are likely several walk-ons that can be used on our special teams that will take a lot of pride in playing mistake free football on these units.
- Cam Pruitt had two holding calls on special teams. He also had a careless critical face masking penalty in the VT game that shifted momentum in that game. He is young, but he is not a very smart player. He should only be used in kickoff and punt coverage where his aggressive tendencies are a good fit. I doubt Cignetti would allow a player that repeatedly draws penalties to take the field.
- Punt returners should not be fielding the ball inside the 7-yard line even if it is Toney.
- Kickoff return blocking is out of synch. This unit was a weapon during our glory days. It can be a weapon again if it is properly coached and the right players are assigned to this unit with zero tolerance for penalties.

We will likely play for several championships over the next decade, but we gave this one away. IU is very good, but we had them in the second half.

Based on post game interviews the O had the look for the pass. Even their DC said it was the right call and the safety was pinching. Marion said it was amiss

The throw was inside & short. Anywhere outside & long looks like we burn the db’s. My question for you, is this a cover for CB? Did he make the wrong read or a poor throw on the right one?

I'm thankful for everything Carson brought to the U.
3 game clinching drives in the playoffs and just a few feet short from the fourth.
God bless him.
The catalyst of what I consider the greatest run in UM history.

I blame bauman on the blocked punt. Is he blind? Or retarded?

Why not both at this point **** it.

Bauman was Zack Feagles level game changingly bad.

He did his job on one stretch run and otherwise it was 11 vs 10 most of the game he was on the field.

Saw this on X....

This is really what I've been trying to explain .

He is not the reason why we lost the game it was a multitude of reasons and mostly because we got owned on the lines which is surprising.

But.... If he threw the ball like that we would either caught it or at least had another f****** chance.

The final play was bad but there were four quarters of mistakes that the team made......and still had an opportunity to win.

The one that probably frustrated me the most were the penalties because it's been an issue all season. Clean that **** up.

I never wanna see a player wear 87 again because it'll remind me of Alex Bauman.
