Beck did everything we needed him to do the whole CFP. I watched the game with some friends last night who did not watch Beck at all this year (not Canes fans but ball knowers). They said all they have heard all year was that Beck is trash & were blown away by how composed/decisive he was apart from the last play of the game. Beck is a Miami Hurricane for life and legend in my book.

Beck wasn’t the reason we lost but If you think he did fine then I can’t help you. That first half was unforgivable. He limits our offense and Dawson does a lot to protect him. I expect our offense to upgrade with Mensah.

Yeah let’s not act like Mendoza looked great either. If we had won..everyone would be saying the same about him. Both QBs didn’t play great…things just didn’t work in Beck’s favor last night. It happens. The kid reset the program trajectory and for that..he’s a legend to me.
