Carson Beck

Definitely respectful. Just seemed like he was facing completely away from gruden the whole time and wasn’t really making eye contact at all. Gruden had to keep asking if Beck was with him which to me sounded like a tone of “hey are you paying attention”. He was fidgeting a bit with his pen and paper. I’m chalking it up to nerves, being on camera, and just shyness when meeting someone for the first time time. I think Beck just takes time to warm up to people.

By the time they were on the field Beck was completely in his element and his confidence was clear. He absolutely crushed the on field portion. He was completely in tune with gruden by then.
Beck thought to be socially awkward at Georgia. He a different cat but he tuff and he can ball.

Extremely high Football IQ...

With 24 picks in his final 2 season.

He knows how to read a Defense so well that he gives them the ball even when they're not asking for it.

Generous guy.
Led us to a national title. Played really well in the playoffs, for the most part. The SMU game was not on him. Louisville — can’t argue that one.

I know you were never a fan of the pick up, but he performed well for us. And now, we have momentum to keep this train moving.

Thankful to Cam for starting the train.

Thankful to Beck for keeping it on the tracks and accelerating it.

The Defense & the run game lead us to a National title...

He lost it.

The SMU game wasn't on him, he just threw a pick at the 1 yard line in OT for sh*ts & giggles I guess.

really? I think he looked pretty comfortable. Very respectful. You can really see his high level football smarts in these conversations

Obviously this is your first time seeing Gruden do this. "You with me" is his go to saying. Asking if they picking up what he's putting down. Also, they're watching film, how's he supposed to be making eye contact while looking at film?? Stop making **** up.

I’ve watched all of these. Again, for me the tone was different. I know he’s always saying it that. This felt like he was trying to get Carson to look at him. He was staring at the board when it wasn’t video.

Cane for life.

He’s not a perfect player. He’s not Cam. But he was a good college QB and will make a generational amount of money playing the sport professionally.

The next few years here will be great, and a ton of fun. A nice chunk of that will be due to his decision to transfer here.
He kept the ball rolling at qb, lot of other fans said we were done after cam

this interview really shined a light for me on how much that kid has been through in his college career, i mean sheeesh, what a football playing ******* warrior.

Are we going to forget everything that happened before that interception in OT against SMU? That game should have never even went to OT. I’d blame every other position group outside of QB before him for that loss. Getting stuffed on multiple 4th and 1s because our line couldn’t block them and our running backs missing open holes. Our WRs and TEs dropping balls that turned into turnovers or drives where we had to settle for field goals. Our defense committing terrible penalties to prolong certain drives and struggling in the second half to get stops. Or the referees calling one of the worst games I’ve ever seen. But we’re going to forget about all of that, huh? You’re better than that. I know you are.

And if I recall, dude made some pretty big plays against Ohio State and Ole Miss. Yes, the A&M game was ugly, but we all know the wind was the main culprit for that. And we didn’t lose the national title ONLY because of his one interception at the end of the game. Again, let’s not forget everything else that happened that game.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here. I’m not saying the dude was Cam Ward. I’m not saying our defense and running attack weren’t more important in our journey to the title game. Obviously they were. But your unwillingness to give him any credit here is head scratching.
