My main criticism about Beck is his running ability ..obviously if he plays to his other strengths like he did tonight we’ll be fine .. OP got his panties in a bunch cause I said Beck is slow in another thread which he is lol..don’t know what so controversial about saying he’s not a dynamic runner

Seeing Sayin’s eyes when 3 and 4 come calling was funny. I know after the game Beck was like…”Told you, I face those guys every day in practice…your line was easy for me to navigate”

Through 13 games, slow or not, Beck left yards on the table scrambling to protect himself, which isn’t bad. Especially one coming off a serious shoulder injury. Tonight, however, he put it all out there for every inch and for several key first downs with the feet.

I’ve heard the same talking point before both CFP games about how Carson Beck is going to implode and throw 4 picks and cost Miami the game. So far through two games, the opponents have thrown 5 picks and Carson hasn’t thrown one.

Homeboy put it all on the line and had some clutch runs. Normally I’m not crazy about quarterbacks lowering their shoulder and trying to run people over but it’s win or go home now and Beck is pulling out all the stops.

Honestly last thing I want is for him to be too up or amped up for the game and start forcing things he shouldn’t like the Lville game. He just needs to stay within the system. I’m more than happy for him to go 21-27 for 180 if it means we’re rushing for nearly 200
