A reporter asked about his classes and he said he doesn't need to go. He said he graduated years ago.

That's a new one on me. I thought you'd at least have to be enrolled in a graduate school.program or even take basket-weaving classes.

Not a criticism. I don't really care. I just assumed you had to be enrolled in a school in order to play for it...

What? So he wasn’t going his last season at UGA either? Because he wasn’t wearing the SEC graduate patch on his jersey that year so he had already gotten his Bachelor’s. I just assumed he had been racking up grad degrees.

you do have to be enrolled. but he doesn't have to have classes this spring as an aside

Too much free time on people's hands.
 
Just have to be eligible after your first semester. He took online classes in whatever he wanted, stayed eligible, doesn't go to class in the spring. Typical of super seniors.

How do we think they can just disappear at these NFL Combine camps and Senior Bowl weeks and Combine weeks etc. They aren't actually in school in the Spring semester.

They are so desperate to paint this program as some renegade program, logic be damned. Carson Beck is eligible because he attended classes last semester. After Monday night, he will never need to be eligible again, so he doesn't need to attend class this week. I'm willing to bet you that Cici wasn't at syllabus week either. There's a good chance that he finished the fall semester in good academic standing, which is all you need in order to take advantage of the Miami Promise program, where you can return after leaving school early and finish for free(if he doesn't finish up this summer.He's bright, I'm quite sure he racked up a ton of summer credits)

Based on what he said, he hasn't had classes in two years. It's not about this year.

In Tx we had assigned study mate's especially at my Uni. Class was ruled a distraction and not to mention away games or media cover. Only a few walk-ons would attend. Nothing new
