The guy claiming this just released a longer breakdown if you are curious what he is on aboutDepends on what he means. If he means long pass over like 40 yards, you need to remember the old adage that "everything is man 30+ yards down the field."
If he means explosive plays from screens, he's wrong again, as teams play zone under all the time and Miami blocks it up and hits explosives.
If he means Beck has traditionally struggled to rip it before he sees it open, I agree. If he means Beck struggles with a defense spins post snap and takes his initial read away, again I agree somewhat.
Indiana is a defense built to take away any offense if they can get pressure and stop the run. If not, they'll struggle to get Miami off the field and then the red zone will tell the story.
They're good. They're 15-0 for a reason.

Yea I think a lot of this is being smart about risk, in the 4th quarter when plays need to be made they are throwing more than check downs. That film breakdown was honestly bad. Like… really bad.
Every OL rep isn’t supposed to be some “dominant” pancake block. That’s not how football works. A lot of times your job is literally just to get in the way. Occupy space. Be a body. That’s still a block.
Sometimes you’re sacrificing yourself so your teammate can make the real key block. That’s called team ball. Watching that video, it was funny because they were acting like guys were getting beat, meanwhile we’re ripping off 5–6 yards a pop. I was laughing.
Beck is also a really good teammate, and that doesn’t get talked about enough. On a lot of those plays where he pulled the ball down, it wasn’t because he panicked, it’s because he wasn’t about to hang his WR out to dry with a hospital ball.
He knows he’s got a legit defense behind him. There’s no reason to force throws when your defense is as good as UM’s. Live for the next play, punt if you have to, and keep it moving.
That’s smart football, not a flaw.
Dude is a Miami hater looking at his twitter timeline. If we went back and watched Tom Brady’s film, we would see him miss stuff. That’s just football. That’s why you don’t run one route and you’ve got multiple options built into every play.Yea I think a lot of this is being smart about risk, in the 4th quarter when plays need to be made they are throwing more than check downs.
