Carol Soffer IPF Walk Through

I'm no IPF expert, but does the roof look low?

Cancel the project.

Not knocking it, it looks GREAT. Just saying, the roof looks low to me. Like I said, I'm not an IPF expert, and would never claim to be. I guess if we're not doing any punting then it won't be an issue.

Every IPF in the country is too low for punters.

Punters can hit the overhead scoreboard in Cowboys Stadium. If you want to be able to punt in an IPF, it would probably double the cost

Thanks. I appreciate it,

Here's all the naming opportunities:
University of Miami - Football Facility Campaign

They already got a lot of them taken.
The next biggest gift will likely be to secure the name to the field.

Assuming Mark Richt already has his naming for either the External field arch entrance or coaches conference room for his $1M.
Also willing to bet Alonzo Highsmith has something named for him since he gave one of the impact statements.

If you want 'low', check out Kansas or Wisconsin.

What a terrible Ad, who wants to give money to the athletic director.

Earth to Blake: The planet of Miami does not revolve around you.

Amen. Dude is acting like some hero. One question, how much did he kick in? Mark has cred "I gave one large, your turn."

The facility looks great. I don't see them breaking ground until after the season as it will be difficult to stay out of the way of football practice. It is going to be a difficult build considering the space but they can go from shovel to opening in 16 months pretty easily.

I like how they didn't create a 40yd mid field but instead you go from the 40 to the end zone. This means the 80yds includes the end zones.

Va Tech had their IPF specifically built with a high roof with punting in mind, that was a sticking point that Frank Beamer insisted on having.

Go Canes

Thanks for sharing OP, here is a bigger view

Let's spring for the CIS "fly the ******* banner" head coach suite. Richt should be loving us as much as we are him.

What's going to suck is all the construction noise during interviews after practice while it's being built. Oh wait, never mind...
