There is an older thread about the young man.

His parents are deaf an wanted a Miami badly for a long time so he could stay instate an be close to his parents. Hopefully Mark Richt will take a look at the young man, because the kid brings the wood when he tackles and he can play center field well in coverage.

Here is a recent article about him and his family
Osceola's Carlos Becker III aims to make his deaf mom happy, lead Kowboys to state title - Orlando Sentinel

More impressive than cook, imo.

10.5m 100m? I don't care if it's hand timed - as a junior long strider, that is a great time. Fluid hips, instinctual, not afraid to lay the wood, this kid is a must get imo.

I'm sure "wiser" decisions about recruiting and who gets offers will now happen. We know Golden and Dorito are complete and utter idiots. They were strangely anti-speed.

I swear I wish I could find the video in which Hurlie and Dorito were debating on whether or not to offer this unnamed safety prospect (Robert Knowles). Hurlie insisted the guy lacked the speed and explosiveness a Miami safety needs to have, yet Dorito *** No D thought the prospect "knows how to play safety." Good riddance. ****!
