Cardinals promote Thurston Armbrister from practice squad

Super happy for him. Actually talked with him a few times at the Big Cheese and he was great. Shows how bad Dumbofrio was when so many of the players on barely .500 teams make it to the league.
 
No superstars. But Armbrister, Chickillo, Bush, Olson Pierre, Ray Ray's landed with the Browns, Jamal Carter, Elder, Gunter, Jenkins, AQM, Chad Thomas. Kamalu and Grace are on practice squads. McCarthy had a promising career but injuries got the best of him ... The guy who I am most disappointed for on the defensive side is T McCord. I still think he was a talent that was ruined by those coaches.

The talent on those defenses wouldn't have taken us to a BCS game. But we should have consistently had 9- to 10-win seasons. We have been underperforming our talent level for nearly 2 decades now.

Yeah man those defenses were loaded.

Not to beat a dead horse but that was always the question: if you have all these great players and suck....what is this end goal you keep alluding to? Insinuating they just needed more talent etc
 
Good to see a Cane get a shot. Really hope he takes advantage of this.

I remember seeing his family (it must have been family) all rocking Armbrister jerseys at games.

good bahamian kid. He has made some money in the nfl...which is great considering he was a kid maybe going to North Colorado. A friendly as **** cane to.
 
People will hate this, but Al Golden and his staff did only one thing well, they developed the talent they had. His players were NFL ready. Very much like Richt and that he was stupidly stubborn. Decent recruiter, bad at all else.
