Makes sense. I assume that unproven freshmen are cheaper form an NIL perspective than a proven upper classman. But the 5 star freshman almost certainly shatters that ceiling, much like NBA and NFL rookies did before the rookie salary cap was installed.I generally agree with what you wrote but there is one key nfl/college difference. Players are "cheap" for their first 4-5 years in the nfl. I could see a team with a top tier tackle on roster drafting another one.
