This is Als last year in Miami. Win or lose. If he wins ( believe it when I see it) he takes another job.. He loses, his a33 gets what's been coming to him and his BF..
It's a sprint to the finish however I do like the start.got to keep the momentum going with a big seasonas much as I hate to admit it.... Hats off to Al and staff for the recruiting job they have put on display in the 2016 and 2017 class. It looks like they are more agressive in recruiting and offering the studs early. To the offseason moves in promoting Kevin beard who replaced Carroll who by the way is an assistant offensive line coach. Yes we had oline coach/te coach coaching our receivers ... Beard is already teaching the guys up. Randy Melvin appears to be a Great on the field hire. He will teach the guys imo how to correctly play dline in the 3-4. If we get some momentum in the season we might be able to make a run. I think golden will take more chances and be agressive on offense and hopefully defense. He knows he has to win this year...
Come on man. You don't have to front. You like the staff. There isn't anything wrong with that. They exhibit something that you like. I don't know what it is but that's you. You have a right to feel that way. That being said we're year away from NSD and 2 years away from 2017. We don't even know if the players will stick, will progress or unfortunately be alive by then. It's premature to congratulate the staff when we all saw this in 2013, 2014, and 2015. You have to finish first. We actually have an alarming amount of commits right now. Majority of the players may not be the best players by the conclusion of the 2015 season.
You've been the biggest staff protector for the past month. Don't deny it and try to backtrack now and try and pass if off as a negativity problem when the rest of your post is this rah-rah, "they can make a run," statement that's past just positivity.
To your actual post, great for the staff to be racking up top tier talent for the classes thus far. I'll get really excited if/when the season is successful and the players actually stick but so far and this juncture I couldn't have asked for better.
No some posters on this site are delusional. Just because someone has optimism about the team doesn't mean I am a golden supporter.... I hate golden but I like what he is doing this offseason so far outside of him not firing the temple guys. And it's not a big reach as some are thinking like I said fsu will be losing alot, Clemson will be losing a lot on defense, Nebraska lost Abdullah, and miami will again have the top talent coming back in the coastal. I give two sh*ts about golden tbh. I just want my canes to win. Just because I'm not openly rooting for my canes to lose like a lot of you guys on this board yall want to neg somebody because of a positive post? That's crazy man...
You cant have a positive thread on any board. The same crew who attempt to make anyone who is a UM fan feel foolish on Eye in the Sky, have now migrated to the recruiting board to make sure we arent getting too excited about our recruiting classes. To the op, it is great that players seem to be excited about Miami again. Lets hope it continues.

If you're going to hope for something, why do you hope we fire Al Golden?
Do you understand why people are unable to be positive? You want to know why there is no real excitement?
1. We just went 6-7. He regressed after 4 years with his most talented team.
2. He lost his last 4 games. He lost 11 out of his last 19 games. He is 16-16 in the ACC. He has never beaten FSU or won the coastal. He can't win an irrelevant bowl game or finish better than 5-3 in the conference.
3. The cloud disappeared and we closed with his worst class at UM (not that it matters because he can't coach).
So what happened after all of this? Nothing. Nothing. He is still coaching. Our program has chosen to stick with the self-inflicted cancer option. Do you understand? Every Miami Football thread will be tainted with the cancer as long as he is here. There is no excitement because we're going into 2015 with Al Golden. Do you understand? Our program has done nothing of any real significance since 2003.
The only real excitement is that Shalala is stepping down. Other than that, there is nothing but self-inflicted cancer.

Guys like Brock just don't get it.
When a 16 year old kid gets an offer from his hometown team before his senior season....the reaction is too say yes right away.
However, once the sharks strat circling in November...all bets are off.
This wave of commits is almost meaningless.
If we win 6-7 games next year, at least half of these kids will go elsewhere.
