CanesInSight HS Tour: Booker T. Washington

Pete is this generation's Uncle Luke. He's already integrated himself throughout the high school football community in south Florida. He's making connects. Building relationships with coaches and staff members. Earning their trust. Pete has a pass to certain areas not everyone can get to. They yell out "Pete coming yo, Pete coming" when they see him turn the corner. Little kids at Booker T are wearing the soccer headband because of him. He coaches a local Pop Warner team, the Lil Petes, as a way to give back. He's going to appear in multiple Rick Ross and Ace Hood videos. Coaches love him and players respect him. He's got the streets of Miami running through his veins. Pete can be spotted playing dominoes or dice during the day and toasting a mayor at a benefit dinner at night. One man, one brow, one goal: to take over the city of Miami.

Excellent work Pete.

This type of report, plus The Work, puts you tiers above Ferman, Bakas, Stock, Lake, and Bastian. Only Adelson is on your level right now but not for long if you keep this **** up.

/Ariz fluffing

The Lane comment wasn't surprising and the Dixon one just supports those rumors about Alabama.

Jackson and Thomas are going to be problems. I almost feel sorry for teams having to gameplan for them.

Walton, 5-10 190 with 4.4 speed and he's a 2016 kid? Wow. Any chance he can graduate a year or 2 early?

Pretty soon, Susan Miller Dengnan will be asking him what setting he puts the clippers on when he shaves the brow.

Great work Pete. Glad that whatever was going on between Ice and Al appears to be over. Looked to me like Chad handled every big time Oline prospect in country this summer; cannot wait to see him in orange and green.
I don't like running qbs for THE U, but Treon would be my first choice if we are taking one. If he is willing to take shot against Olsen and Kaaya, I say bring him--especially if one of the others flip. If he can't win a starting job, he will probably what to switch to another position since he is a football player. He doesn't fit THE U prototype, but he is talented enough to give a shot and cutting him out of FSU to dry them up down here is a plus. But this staff would have to believe he has shot; they seem to be straight with the kids.

The crazy thing is that Mark Walton is BTW's backup RB and to be honest he's more 4.5-4.6 than 4.4 at the moment. Has some growing to do but he will be a beast.

Yo Pete, this article was **** good bruh. I was never one of these cats who critiqued anything you wrote good or bad cuz the **** was free so what do I care if your grammar isnt perfect. Lol! I am REALLY glad you didnt interview Ice. Tired of hearing him. Glad you focused on the kids. Can you give us a sneak peek of whats to come? Like a visitation schedule because these installments are gonna save our sports lives over the next 21 days. Lol!

Awesome write-up Pete. Amazing we get these from a free site.

Did they say Chad would stay at the DT spot this year or are they going to try and slide him out a little bit to DE?

Is Walton up there at Scarlett and Patrick's level or no since he hasn't even been a starter yet?

Now this is the **** that makes this site light years above the other Canes sites. Great write-up Pete.

Everyone, please prepare to remove your children from private school so that you can afford the impending subscription fees D-nero will hit us all with now that Pete has blossomed into a profitable commodity.

Thanks, Pete. Awesome job.

I'm VERY intrigued by Demetrius Jackson, it seems the BTW coaches are very excited about him and he must be showing major flashes at practices to have already garnered the college interest he has.

I get the impression that the combination of Chad Thomas and Demetrius Jackson will end up being a perfect pair for what Golden seems to want our defense to become. Jackson (from reports) seems to likely be headed to a hybrid DE/LB role with solid DE size and Chad Thomas seems destined to be that SDE that can work just as well as a 3-technique in a 3-4.

Would those who have seen Jackson play say this is accurate?

I like that we're bringing in 600 defensive ends from other schools because it allows us the luxury of taking the time to develop Jackson. He's going to require a redshirt year and some time to get in the weight room and start to understand advanced football concepts. But from the sounds of it, he has a lot of physical, raw, natural tools of violence that you cannot teach a man.

Awesome stuff, this was a great idea for a series. I'm really looking forward to the Norcross-Booker T game in a couple weeks.

Totally agree, Depth at every position is a wonderful thing.

Very good stuff Playa Pete! These kids have made it clear The U is where they want to be! Hope those Ice Harris haters will put their delusions to rest. Now we gotta get Broward and Palm Beach kids on board. The 2014 Defense and Team will be one to be reckoned with.

Can't agree more... Its amazing how much better your dline can be when you let your studs play after a shirt and 2 years of development and hitting that weight room.... And Not playing them on their true freshman years
