I also don't think Games are predetermined by Jersey color, but that would be dumb of me.

You don’t think the uniforms could be a distraction especially for a game of this magnitude?

Uniforms don’t win or lose games but god **** how can you argue they’re not a distraction with those results? Why would play with those numbers in a game like this? Do it for the Virginia’s of the world. But carry on being a smart ***..

Uniforms being a distraction is one of the stupidest things I have read in this forum,

We have our biggest game of the season coming up so far, and a chance to stay undefeated, but these black jerseys are stopping me from being ready

Why are people complaining? It's 1 game a year and they are wearing them no matter the number of dislikes. The kids like them and I have no issue with a concept for 1 game a year.

My only concern which I have stated multiple times is getting Malik used to passing to a black hat. I'm hoping we wear them all week in practice. I'm also hoping VT wears a white helmet and not their dark maroon one.

The man in charge, obviously doesn't have a problem with the uniform or we wouldn't be wearing them. There's gotta be a reason for it ya think?

If one of our players needs a uniform to get pumped for this game they need to be off the team pronto.
Personally, I think anything that detracts from your standard operating procedure should be shut down. Bama wears the same old tired uniforms, they are very business like in how they prepare for games. No gimmicks, no bull****. I like that. Saban believes in routine, his routines win championships.

As someone who played, the unis are definitely a boost.

Bama's routine is recruiting the TOP players in the country every year.

Recruiting and buying top recruits...........its amazing what they get away with. College football way dirtier than the pros!!

Though I do like the white/white, green/green, orange/orange, and black/black, I had nothing to do with the design or the choice. Believe it or not.

I think they should be bolder...
- all monotone looks should be worn with matching tights.
- I’d love to see a gray/black version for the Canes of what Ohio State wore should we ever play OSU again.
- wear a “U” version of that swampsuit when Miami plays Florida.
- chromes, metallics...like those too.
- Games against Clemson, Syracuse or anyone who wears orange...orange from head to ****in toe.
- Game at PSU - triple white, no stripings on the jersey or pants, white numbers faintly trimmed in orange and green and a “U” on the helmet faintly outlined in orange and green. White. The. ****. Out.
- games in Indiana, north of Indianapolis...gold and blue with gold helmets or gold helmet with no logo, white/green jersey and blue pants.
- some games with zero logos. Why? They know who they’re playing and their boots have been shaking from the moment it was finalized on the schedule.

I like everything Miami wears and even some things that might be dreamt up.

That said, I know enough to know that the black shoes that some of you are craving is a PSU thing; Miami wore white shoes in the early years of ring collection. So if you want classic, then white shoes. But, oh wait, there is no real “classic” because Miami has been primary in green too. I also know that those block numbers...could use some swag. Yeah, i said it.

To be fair, they got rid of those because nobody liked them. They really just don't make sense and nick saban had to say this..
"I think what we wear is a lot bigger than me, and a lot bigger than anyone. It's what everybody's expectation is of what they want to see when Alabama plays football...And all the years past that. So just for some marketing whim? I'm not really into that."

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what the team wears as long as they win, but its still disappointing for your tradition to be bastardized for an apparel marketing gimmick.
