Canes - Washington 2001

The best part was the Washington ad saying we were running up the score hahahaha
That’s the u I love man but it’s crazy to all recruits going forward no one would have seen this it’s all fairy tails
Like when I was growing up hearing about how good The 85 bears were I still till this day think the 01 ravens were better on defense but it’s what I saw and I’m biased

The 91 Eagles Defense was better than both the others...

I was there and remember at 1/2 time thinking that I actually felt sorry for that sorry Wash. team which was supposed to be so good.

Only time ever, I felt sorry for an opponent.
 
one of the best memories i had with my dad. I was in highschool, and he ordered it on PPV? or something like that. we didnt have the channel it was on. Anyway, amazing time watching that

Sorry been drinking. McKinnie destroyed Freeny in that game. All the hype about Freeny and he didn't do ****.

Now, THAT was an elite Defense. New fans today will never understand what the OB was like in those type of games.

Not me. In 1994, Washington handed me my first loss at home experience. I remember feeling confused like this wasn’t suppose to happen. I was 12 years old and had been going to games since I was a toddler. Those days are long, long, gone..

All the anger about the 2000 UW game came out in this game.

Anyway, I wish that Coker had been willing to run the scoreboard in the Nebraska game like he had been in the UW and Syracuse games. Really Nebraska was the game where he should have been most willing to run the scoreboard, since it was the last game of the season so it’s not like any Miami injuries would have affected us in future games.

Actually Nebraska has never really recovered from the Rose Bowl loss and 62-36 loss to close out 2001.

Frank Solich went 7-7 the next year as the last of Tom Osborne’s players left. They’ve been mediocre ever since.
