That's really not true. Last year, Tennessee and Appalachian State beat them 30-7 and 31-17, respectively. Southern Miss and Florida Atlantic beat them by a combined score of 86-8. The year before, Texas A&M blew them out, as did Middle Tennessee and Coastal Carolina. And in 2017, Florida beat them 36-7 and they lost in the Bahamas Bowl to Ohio 41-6. In 2014, Arkansas beat them 45-17 and in 2013, LSU beat them 56-17 and Vandy 56-24. UAB doesn't suck. They're typically in the top 4 in the CUSA, though that is likely the worst G5 conference. But they've beaten one P5 opponent in history (and it was a while ago), and virtually all of their P5 matchups are blowouts.
