When is the last time our offensive line actually got a good push? When is the last time we could just run the ball up the middle on a good team?

You can't expect to move the ball up and down the field on a good defense by running inside zone and sweep plays from the shotgun. Even Chip Kelly couldn't do that with mobile QBs and insane tempo. The teams that run the ball successfully like Bama, OSU, Wisconsin, etc. run NFL blocking schemes: power, counter, trap, split belly, etc. Those teams also incorporate motion, jet motion, misdirection, etc. to keep the D off balance with constraints to test eye discipline and create numbers advantages.

Can someone explain to me why this program used to literally get NFL level coaches to come here, used to get the best players in the world, etc. And now doesnt? I swear the people running things still care more about a wholesome image than winning football games. I wish they'd just come out and say what we all know: "we dont intend to be the Miami of old ever"....

We haven't won 10 games since 2003, we've gone through a rough PR scandal that put us on restriction which we're only now coming out of, and we had a school administration that wasn't focused on athletics. Since then FSU has won 1 NC and UF has won 2. Times have changed and Miami has struggled. We'll be back eventually but we need to keep recruiting.
