Terrific team win, shot 42% from the floor, but 88% from the Free Throw line & out-rebounded Provi by 9.

- Norchad Omier with another dominant performance; 19pts 12rebs & 2blks
He dominated in the paint & continues to be one of the easily 5 best rebounders in the country

- Isaiah Wong with 18pts, 3rebs, 3stl & 3ast, had a very good bounce back game from FAMU
he absolutely controlled & won his matchup with Devin Carter all game, he pretty much got to the basket whenever he felt like it (even when he didn’t finish lol), but Wong made a huge difference in this game.

- Jordan Miller 9pts & 9rebs, didn’t have a great shooting night, but affected the game on Defense & had some clutch plays getting to the basket

- Pack played better from the FAMU game, but had some lapses defensively; he does a good job when he’s creating off the dribble, the 3pt shot will start to fall as he gets more opportunities, but he’s impacting the game driving & working well while operating the Offense as he transitions into becoming more of a true PG. Gotta remember, he was mostly an off-ball 2 guard at KState that was primarily a spot-up shooter.

- Bensley Joseph had another good game off the bench; played good Defense & had a good shooting night.

Loved seeing AJ Casey log some good minutes to spell for Omier, he didn’t fill up the stat sheet but he looked comfortable & did what was asked of him.

Mentioned it multiple times earlier in the thread, but Beverly played good Defense on Noah Locke in the 1st half.

Overall, we left a lot of points on the court, there were multiple possessions where if we just finish at the basket we win this game by easily 15+, but even with that said, we never panicked or got out of composure when Providence made a couple surges & cut the lead to 6.

We’re a good team with very good depth; but that Maryland game is gonna be a tough one.

Idk if yall watched MD vs Saint Louis, but they are goood...

Donta Scott, Hakim Hart, Don Carey & Ian Martinez (coming off the bench) are gonna be a handful.

Great win! What’s the scouting report on Maryland?
They’re an athletic team with good length, that shoots well from the floor, pretty much equal to us.

They have 9 players who are 6’5 & up, most of their 2 rotations are F/G’s who are in the 6’6- 6’9 range.

We have better ball movement than them we’re both pretty equal Defensively, but their edge is how aggressive they are when attacking the basket. They had a good 3pt shooting game against Saint Louis shooting 40%.

Donta Scott & Hakim Hart will be the tough matchups for us Defensively, Miller & Wooga will have to play sound on-ball Defense against those two.
