Canes really need to win the series this weekend, and most likely need to sweep this series to get back in the thick of things in the ACC.

No doubt has hit some adversity in their season and it'll be interesting to see how they respond on the road against a bad Pitt team.

They have two really good hitters in Connor Perry and Ron Washington Jr. (son of former manager Ron Washington). They've got a really solid bullpen at the back-end, but their starting pitching has struggled. At 7-16 overall and 1-8 in the conference, you'd like to see Miami take care of business.

Nothing less than a sweep will work this weekend. That’s the reality after you get swept at home the previous weekend. Let’s get it done!

Get it done, boys. Btw, don't believe Washington is related to the former MLB manager.

If Rivera and Del Castillo can win the 2 corner OF spots, this is probably our best lineup.

Not sure I have ever seen an easier ground ball kicked - smh. It literally bounced right to his waist.

Pair of strikeouts and a liner to Toral end the inning. Still scoreless.

Great job by McKendry to bear down and get out of it. It appears we'll need a strong outing from him tonight.

Vilar singles in another. 2-0

Anthony seems to be getting back to where he was at the start of the season
