Starting on the first play of that drive instead of a run which luckily we got quite a bit of yards. Sure it worked out this time but how many times have something similar happened last year and we ripped them to shreds since we didnt get the first down and time ran out. It's an extremely conservative play against a subpar team

Because we broke a run for 37 yards, but we accepted ending the half with points. Trust I'm watching and 90% of the time we would of gone to the half with 0 points with that play calling.

When you get a holding penalty late in the half on a pass play that would have gotten you into FG range, and you are now pushed back, you try to see if you can pop one. If you don't, then you go into half up 10. This isn't Madden, where you can call a guaranteed TD on a fly route, you want to avoid doing something stupid, especially seeing that TVD can't push the ball downfield right now.
