Canes vs Gators predictions

Right now I lean 30 - 26 Miami

Waiting to make my final prediction until I see an injury report and the referee/crew calling the game.

We only got 4k tickets in our contract. Can't wait to see what else Blake James bent over for.. guessing an SEC crew that they select pre-game in the parking lot wearing orange and blue.

We had an SEC crew at home vs A&M - Jason Autrey in particular is massively corrupt and oft criticized for being horrendous. We've had the head ref in the GT game a year ago that has had a profile pic on facebook and linkedin of a GT player standing over an injured Miami player. Never any bias against us in these games or anything.

Every line move has a buyback point. It seems that is Canes -3 1/2 for this game. Every time the books try to go there it gets hammered back down to -2 1/2. To answer your question, barring any injury news (unlikely), this line is not moving much.
 
This game will be convincing, but still ugly and messy due to home crowd, refs and communication issues (expect some in the first game at least).

Miami 30-20 with 4th qtr td opening it up at the end.

Ward 30, Mertz 13.

And not really that close, but Canes settle for a few opening-game-new-offense FGs, then control the game with Martinez/Fletcher pounding the rock in the second half. Ward plays well and shows he’s the real deal. Defense shines.

Canes kneel three straight plays down to 0:00 4th Qtr….
