In baseball they have a stat called Wins Above Replacement player (WAR). Basically it's to determine how many more wins a player is worth over a hypothetical player with average stats across the board. So a guy like Aaron Judge might have a WAR of 10, which means he is worth 10 extra wins over some random dude called up from the minors. If WAR was a football stat, Knightons WAR would be -4. I'm not kidding
