ESPN had us losing to VT but winning the other 3 games on the schedule. Hopefully we will surprise them and win.

When i look at the top 10 list, I realize more and more what @The Franchise is right about how there are a couple of elite programs and the rest are in different category. The gap is significant.

So many Hurricane "fans" are saying we don't deserve our ranking, but outside of the top 4, look above and below us, and there are no teams that are clearly better than us on any given day, or who have been consistently better than us. Texas A&M? They barely scraped by Vanderbilt. Florida? Other than their win against a banged up Georgia who came out flat, their other games haven't looked any better than ours. Cincinnati and BYU? They are big question marks who haven't played anyone yet. Indiana? They beat two "ranked" teams that turned out not to really be worthy of rankings, similar to our defeat of L'Ville. Oregon? No idea what they are yet, they've played one game. So outside of the elite 4 at the top, we are as worthy of a top 10 or higher ranking as any other team there.

I agree with you somewhat but it doesn't mean others aren't true fans. We are 6-1 and that is awesome especially compared to last year.

But others, and heck count me in, are skeptical as we haven't really beaten a ranked team (yes, I know they may have been ranked at the time). Happy to be 6-1 but still a lot of questions/holes and to me surprisingly a lot of those questions are on defense. Winning ugly counts and let's keep doing it and end the season in a nice bowl game!
