The Hurricanes were back on the Greentree Practice Fields on Saturday morning as the final week of spring practice kicked off at Miami.

After the workout, wide receivers coach Kevin Beard and wide receivers Vandrevius Jacobs and Daylyn Upshaw, along with defensive backs Dylan Day and Omar Thornton, shared their thoughts on the day’s workout and how spring drills are progressing.

Was there a scrimmage? Had to be, no?

Can any CIS poster at the practice give us a few bullets on who stood out and if there were any remarkable plays? I know some of you guys attended.

It was a scrimmage so no media was allowed in. Their were several people on Greentree watching like DMoney.

The culture has carried right over from last season. It is so good, it's still surprising to me. That's why you want recruits seeing them practice. Not only do they work their tails off, but they want it. Theirs accountability. If you knew what it was like with Manny here, the difference is shocking. The players first, but the culture. Wow! Just think in a few short years, all of our new hype videos will have Cam, Arroyo, Mali, Beck, Mensah, Bain, Mesi, Scott, J. Scott, Wilson, Moore, Fletcher and Lyle's. Lord knows, I love them, but when all your hype videos are 20 years old it's embarrassing. Alonzo's group saved my football fandom. Literally! Thank you, Zo and you know.

@Cane30 I know Mario asks attendees not to share info online, and it's probably "an offer you can't refuse". But while "it is so good" is nice to hear, that does not satisfy.

This is the most locked-down **** I have ever followed. Opposing teams are not going to have any advantage if a poster says "X, Y and Z players balled out". #Bringbackparkinglotpaparazzi

DMoney talked about the scrimmage on the podcast earlier
