I haven't mde an appearance on the Baseball board in a long time, but Go Canes!
Was just thinking the same thing. 99.9% of my posts are football related. However, I have always loved Canes baseball. Any sport, actually. Any good news Cane related should be celebrated, and this is really good news.

Congrats to the staff. This is what it will take to compete with UF consistently. While we got lucky because of the abbreviated MLB draft, I was very impressed with the transfers we were able to persuade to complete their college careers at the U.
We didn't get that lucky. We lost our entire weekend rotation.

So is this for the class that would have just been drafted, as in these guys will all be on campus for this season and not at risk of going pro?

We got lucky in the sense that in a full draft we would have lost our entire weekend rotation anyway, but also would have lost several recruits that ended up making it to campus.

That is what I meant by "getting lucky" with the draft. I agree we were unlucky in not getting to see that 2020 rotation in the post-season, and of course, none of #1 UF's top guys got drafted.
