I'm thrilled that he found a team that understands he has plenty left as a receiver. Perfect fit with Matt Ryan. This could extend Hester's career 2-3 years. I was posting two years ago on Dolphin forums that Hester was steadily losing it as a returner but was actually improving as a receiver, and now offered more value in that role than as returner. It was moronic of Trestman last year to remove Hester entirely as receiver, although that team wasn't exactly lacking at the position and Trestman apparently favors big targets.
It will be interesting to see how patient the Bears are with Trestman. I already hear rumblings from friends of mine who are Bears fans. Can't say that I blame them.
