Don’t like our defense vs running QBs. Better figure something out between now and the end of the year. I’d tell James Williams I know you don’t want to but you HAVE to play LB. You can go back to safety next year. It is a huge hole on our defense every week. Also hope Wes developed by then.

Unfortunately (well, for perception’s sake), I see that one going in the opposite direction. Not all that knowledgeable about Tennessee’s defense this season, but their offense is no doubt going to light Pitt the **** up.
I get this. It'd be a primetime game, two highly ranked teams, great for recruiting. Beating an 8-0 fsu, clemson, and an ACC championship would punch MIAMI's ticket to the playoff. But iwgaf if fsu was 0-8.

I don't think it will help as much as you do if the DEs don't learn how to maintain contain on the edges.
God help me, I'm going to say something in uf's favor. We all know the week 1 rankings were nonsense, they're made up off hype and buzz. That said, uf won a game the voters didn't expect them to win, and you have to give credit for that. Where the rolls reversed, you'd be screaming that we need to be ranked top 10 after beating #7.
I'm just saying, the logic is there. Or else everybody needs to admit they were super-wrong about Utah, which is fine. Except then I have to listen to a-holes talking about how they aren't good but they beat Mario. Twice. Whatever, there's no part of me that believes the gater is actually good, so I don't care about the ranking right now.
i agree! When Miami beat #1 Texas in 1973, we barely went into the top 20.
