The Canes beatdown of Virginia Tech was fantastic for some and served up the added bonus of qualifying for a Bowl Game. Yes, I know it's not going to be a significant Bowl Game.

My profound concern is for those who were desperately hoping the Canes wouldn't qualify for a Bowl Game as that would have been excellent material to bash the program even further.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I couldn't help but think that the V. Tech win compared favorably to Lucy (the Canes) pulling the football away from Charlie Brown (the haters/mob).

Endeavoring to raise your spirits...the Canes could get whipped by Pittsburgh, which would serve as a potent anti-depressant for you.

If the Canes can somehow beat Pittsburgh and also prevail in the Bowl match-up (putting a lump of coal in the haters Christmas stocking), I will be sending a red alert to all of the mob members families to remove all sharp objects from their homes, along with any other items they could use to do harm to themselves.

Please come together with me and say a prayer for the herd that they will survive this most troubling time.

This is what you do at 4 in the morning ? The extra Bowl
Game practices are huge ....
We can practice our 5 plays on offense ad nauseam

I see one of your many problems, you think an 8 win season is the new benchmark for success around here? Yes, congratulations to Marky-Mark and the UM program for snapping a 4 game slide against a 4 win team and surging back to a respectable 2-8 against their last 10 P5 opponents. I hope we beat Pittsburgh and whatever directional school play in Dec 19th bowl game, but 0 about this season was a success. Well, other than watching you and yet another "new" screen name come apart game by game.

Well, golly gee, thank you, Dr. Freud, for your penetrating analysis of me. Not only are you a renowned psychiatrist, but you are also a mind reader.

You have a big future in the Carnival sideshow world, alongside the chap who bites off chicken heads, the pixie dust spreader on the Tilt-A-Whirl, the genius who guesses people’s weight and the Cane hater who does the barkin’ for the yak lady.

Seriously, you are as they say...special!

I don't see where he wrote that.
No one here is happy with an 8 win season...
but It is ok to want to win games. It's ok to be happy about a win.

Golden benefited from the bogus "cloud" excuse.
Shannon was fired after going 9-4 in his third year, then 7-5 in his 4th year.
He was 0-2 in bowl games and didn't win the Coastal.

Changes need to be made. 4th in the Coastal DOES NOT cut it.
We all know Richt isn't getting fired this year.
If we go 8-4 or 9-3 and fail to get to the ACCCG next year, he will be gone IMO.

For the record, my benchmark for success is winning the Conference, and getting to the CFBPO.

Changes have to happen but the mob wants to burn things down before they can happen. It’s a good thing Clemson fired Dabo in year three when they took a step backwards from 9 wins to 6 wins. They would have never got that corrected.

If Richt pulls a Golden and makes no staff changes this offseason, then he needs to go. However, we have to allow the man to get to the offseason to make those changes without being so toxic that nobody wants to come near this program

Cant compare Clemson football to The U, they knew very little success at the top, and we're used to competing for Natty's around here

If you listen to Richts press conference you’d think we hammered Clemson, Georgia or some other top 10 team, as opposed to a 4 win team and a VT fan base that wants the HC fired.

Also STOP comparing Richt to Dabo! In what world is this comparison valid? Dabo was a first time YOUNG coach that was only in his second full year. He was the WR coach and took over on an interim basis his first year. Dabo was all upside.

Richt is a fossil with 18 years of failed HCing experience

Are we used to competing for Nattys? We haven’t finished in the top 10 in what 16 years?

Clemson was stuck in mediocrity just like us. It took 7 years to build them. Not saying Richt should have seven but he at least gets this offseason to make changes

Yes, we hate your ignorance.

.

Wow! A play on words. Man, you put me in my place. One favor...please show mommy how creative you've been. Seriously, how do you think of this stuff? Here I go again, another favor, please, please, please keep your brilliant observations coming as it would not be fair of you to deprive the world of your brilliance. "We hate your ignorance"...simply ingenious!
