It’s the same **** debates over and Oberon this board...
Either we are “2001 in the making” or pure sh*t.
How about that we are what we are?
A mediocre team with some NFL talent sprinkled in.... ie. Thomas, Dallas, Jordan and eventually JW...
A mediocre team Richt inherited from Golden which he was able to recruit some upgrades here & there into a middling team.
And when MR was run out of town— Manny shows up to pump 3 special players in via Portal and convince a couple seniors to stay to slightly improve us...
Then the big decision to go with building the future with JW rather than the trying to work w the past (Perry & Tate).
But the foundation of a top 10 team has always be a mean-*** Defense with a hardcore pass rush and an O-line that can give the QB time and open lanes for the RB.
THOSE 2 REASONS ARE WHY WE ARE STRUGGLING THIS YEAR.
Not whether JW can throw a deep ball...
He was getting pressured by Central-Fu*cking-Michigan all game long!
We have barely pubertize boys O-line playing against some grown *** guys.
We are what we are..... a few highly skilled players sprinkled into a very young and very average team.
This year is not so much about winning as it is about IMPROVING.
Buckle the seat belts and put your binky in you’re mouth because we are in for 3 years of a rebuild before we even sniff the Top 10 list.
Reality is annoyingly consistent....
