Dorsey was definitely bad this game. He had a few in his career. He's one of our best qb's to ever play here, but was off this game. Watch some his other games and he is carving teams up.

I have not watched a replay of this game in years. Couple things stand out besides Dorsey's awful performance.

1. KWII was the best player on the field. Despite his recent behavior, he's probably the best college tight end ever, IMO
2. DJ Williams was a beast
3. D-line was manhandled most of the game
4. Outcouched all game. Winslow and McGahee bailed us out all game.
5. Beitia is a punk and karma got him.

Agree kellen Winslow and Vince Wilfork imo were best players on the field for our canes that day.

the shanked punt before they go wide right would have infuriated me. Happy I knew the score. Baxa and feagles have me shook watching kickers.
 
I get sad now watching what we had taken from us, but did catch the last 6 minutes of the Wide Left game in the OB. They thought they had it and then sudenly boom we are ahead. It never gets old to watch noles get all excited thinking they were finally going to win one. After we score in two plays and force punt, they were crying, then that frigging punt. I have forgotten the punt. Suddenly they are excited and the chant is going. Couple completions and they are in range for the savior, they greatest nole kicker ever. I remember thinking all he is thinking is "don't sent it right" and knew it would go left. Watching the broken hearts is better than a 30 point butt wiping.

We got into our first National Championship game by making last second field goal in Tally. They always choked. They were never worthy but always adored by the media. Bama under Saban has actually loss games like that to their biggest rival, Auburn, including the short field goal return. And Auburn can not be compared to FSU during all those years. For all their greatness under Saban, our great teams would have crushed their little heads 7 out of 10. We use to be flat every once in a while.

Stop it.....No NC Winning QB was "Bad"....Maybe not Elite or way above average....but Bad??....Lol....To say Dorsey was a bad QB leads me to believe your either a Troll....or Lobotomized....

Or I was 10 when Dorsey played. And yes he was BAD in that 2002 FSU game. Ken Dorsey would prob be the first to tell you he had a terrible game. We won despite his bad play so I asked if he typically played that bad.

As for no bad QBs in national championship games take a look at the list below and tell me half that list is not JAGs(just another guy if you are too old to understand that)

Judging by your profile pick you are probably late 50s early 60s. At that age you have a 50/50 shot whether you know what lol stands for.

But you don’t have to get your pantys in a wad over Dorsey. I know he did a lot for this program but still doesn’t take away him looking like a non mobile Rosier in that FSU game.

1 more minute against UDub, and we pull off the great comeback. Played as bad as we could in the 1st half, and completely owned the 2nd half. Just ran out of time. Beat the #1, 2, and 6 team in the nation w/ one loss on the season and cannot believe we didn’t play for the national title. 1986 v 2000 are battling for the greatest teams not to be a champion
