Canes Move up to #10 in AP Poll

Liberty handily beat the team that we barely beat by a single point last week.
Most of the players on our roster lost to FIU and La Tech last season. I don't think either could blow us out, but it is certainly not outside the realm of possibilities either.
What game did you watch? Handily? They kicked a field goal with one second left in the game. And they only did that because VT coaches went ******* stupid and called a time out to ice the kicker and then went stupid and played hail mary defense so liberty could move the ball up another 8 yards to kick the field goal. It wasn't even close to handily.

Most of these people don’t watch football, they really don’t understand football, they’re just here for stupid hot takes, and to shlt on the canes as much as they possibly can.

VT losing to Liberty was an embarrassment, and they sealed their own fate, but it wasn’t anything close to being handily beaten. Christ I don’t know how people come up with this shlt

Why wouldn’t they? Clemson gave them the recipe and they have a better defense lol maybe not blowout but I can see us getting downed by cincy by at least 10

Bro, you are one of the better posters here. I hope you are just being hormonal right now and not serious. Where on Cincinnati's schedule have they played a single P5? They have beaten up G5 schools. Wow. Miami beat up UAB. Cincy just scraped by UCF. UCFs defense is 99th in yards allowed. UCF is an average G5 and still it was a close call. If you'd said Indiana would give Miami a game, then I'd agree with that. We at least saw IU matched up with a good P5. But Cincy? I'm not impressed by lopsided numbers against G5 schools. I've got more respect for Liberty than Cincy. Two wins over P5 schools is more impressive than a 50 point win over Austin Peay. Miami wouldn't have problems with Cincinnati.

Don’t call me hormonal bro 😂😂 **** that’s funny. I’m half serious though. I think with the last two performances we had we could drop a game to cincy

Northwestern looked good against Wisky. They'll jump us next Sunday after beating Michigan State.

We're probably overrated, but not by much . The teams after Clemson are interchangeable. I don't even think ND is all that. They has the luck of the Irish playing Clemson without Lawrence. UNC could beat them. Miami vs. any of these teams is a coin toss, IMHO. We're good not great, as are the rest of the Top 5-20.

You know that Dj Uiagaleilei would start and succeed at every school in the country rn expect for like 3 right?
Succeed is relative.

From the movie, Green Mile (execution scene)

Okay, boys, okay. Now, what in the **** happened?

Paul:
An execution. A successful one.

Hal:
How in the name of Christ can you call that a success?

Paul:
Eduard Delacroix is dead. [looks at Percy] Isn't he?

Houston. And beat the **** means the game was never in doubt on there end. They’ll control it all 4 quarters but we’ll score too much to get blown out.

Sorry, "beat the ****" in common English means blowout.

We beat the **** out of Louisville and it wasn’t a blowout. Just wasn’t as close as the score made it out to be. But y’all have the right to y’all opinion as do I. I never flaunt my opinion as fact
