Canes Move up to #10 in AP Poll

Why wouldn’t they? Clemson gave them the recipe and they have a better defense lol maybe not blowout but I can see us getting downed by cincy by at least 10
Now you are back pedaling saying maybe not blowout.
I saw the game yesterday. Both Cincy and UCF have major deficiencies. UCF could not get a pass rush most of the game. We would do a lot better in my opinion of causing their QB to make mistakes or at least get uncomfortable.

I don't see why people think teams like Cincy and BYU are so much better than us. They are at best equal to us and in a Bowl situation I would probably favor us in Hard Rock.

I never said blowout. That was another poster

DING DING DING , another realest I thought I was alone here .

Cincy would push OSU to the last tick of the clock .

UCF would beat us by 20 points
Maybe, I’m watching one thing and seeing it differently in my brain @OriginalCanesCanesCanes

But , I’m going to do what I said earlier and dump my realest mindset for the last three games and ignore what I THINK I‘ve been watching.

If it’s my Viejo mind I’ll eat crow happy to , but I’ve seen some mindset issues with our Canes till King bails this team each game winning drive which only goes so far .

I’ll take the Dumb vote OCCC and see how the last three games go.

With my new three game mindset in play of running the table against what we see on the field 👍

You said beat the ****.

I don't know what part of the country you are from but that usually is synonymous with a blowout in daily vernacular no?
Houston. And beat the **** means the game was never in doubt on there end. They’ll control it all 4 quarters but we’ll score too much to get blown out.

Y'all keep overlooking Cincy because they in a Group of 5 conference. They're legit top 15 team, they won 11 games in each of the last two seasons. They've already beaten quality teams (SMU, UCF, and Memphis) unlike BYU.

You guys are out of your mind if you think Cincy or UCF would blow Miami out.
Go take some medications.
Liberty handily beat the team that we barely beat by a single point last week.
Most of the players on our roster lost to FIU and La Tech last season. I don't think either could blow us out, but it is certainly not outside the realm of possibilities either.

The coaches and AP rankings are just for television. They're meaningless. The only ranking that matters is the CFP ranking which comes out on Tuesday.

I expect us to be ranked at least 1 spot lower (below Indiana) and it will be interesting to see how BYU and Cincinnati are ranked. The CFP uses both analytics a d the eye test where the AP and coaches is just an eye test that doesn't factor strength of the competition.

I don't think BYU or Cincinnati should be in the top 10. Both have had weak schedules ( even weaker than ours) and I don't think you should reward that despite their original non conference tough games getting canceled. They didn't get the games they originally scheduled. Too bad. Move along.

Liberty lost to a team we beat also. How convenient to leave that out

I would have preferred they keep Indiana in the top 10 and drop Oregon. Oregon barely beats an unranked opponent starting a backup freshman quarterback and they get bumped up.
