Canes in the Pros

As a 70 year Phillies fan, I have seen alot of bums pass through the doors. This year the relievers and some of the hitters have been especially terrible. A very bright light at the end of the season is Alex McFarlane. I just stumbled across the fact that he went to Miami. He has a record of 4-1, an ERA of .87 and routinely throws over 100. Pretty good for having had Tommy John. Was promoted from AA Reading.

The Office is such a funny show. I recently realized it is not for my 11 year old daughter who watched an episode and started asking about Oscars lifestyle and what "bang her" means.

I don't recall him throwing anywhere close to over 100 mph at Miami. Does anyone recall how hard he threw here?

94 - 95 IIRC. He may be the key to how far the Phillies go in the post-season. Their SP is pretty solid but the pen is not as deep IMO.
